Meet the Author

Lindsey is a 20-something lover of wine and all things cultural! A native Houstonian, she currently resides in Oklahoma, where she is finishing up Bachelor’s degrees in theatre and journalism at OU. Given her artistic inclinations, she decided she would share her love of food, movies, music and other cultural necessities with others in an effort to help people appreciate the finer things in life. Her blog chronicles her discoveries in Houston, Oklahoma and wherever else she may find herself!

As a lover of the cultural side of life, Lindsey enjoys a very well-rounded and eclectic taste. Her favorite movie of all time is The Godfather (especially given that she is Sicilian herself)! Likewise her favorite food is Italian, but she is a connoisseur of all foods (or I guess the proper term is ‘foodie’), and honestly there isn’t much that she doesn’t like, or at least won’t try! She also has a serious sweet tooth, which she tries to control. Her absolute favorite band is The Killers, but don’t ask her to pick her favorite song.

She has a serious addiction to coffee and drinks it in all forms and fashion…multiple times a day. And of course she is a wino, her favorite being cabernet sauvignon…no wait shiraz…or merlot…darn it make it anything red and robust! Although, granted, she will drink the occasional glass of white wine. She is of course a book worm, and although she finds it hard to read during the school year, she makes up for it over the summer. Her favorite books include Frankenstein, A Tale of Two Cities and Les Miserable.

Side note: she hates all Kindles and Nooks and would GLADLY break them all.
